Houston Has Some Of Worst Traffic Bottlenecks In US: Report

Traffic congestion is a problem in most large US cities, and Houston has it's fair share of traffic headaches too.

HOUSTON, TX — The American Transportation Research Institute has released its annual list highlighting the most congested bottlenecks for trucks in America, and it’s hardly surprising that Houston has some of the worst.

The 2018 Top Truck Bottleneck List assesses the level of truck-oriented congestion at 300 locations on the national highway system, and all of Houston’s freeway interchanges are listed high on the list.

The worst of those freeway bottlenecks is the interchange at Interstate 10 and Interstate 45, followed the interchange at I-45 and U.S. 59, bot of which were among the top 20 worst bottlenecks in the US.
