Williams is out on bond from two separate charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon from 2020, court documents show.
Williams is accused of running from an attempted traffic stop after a Harris County Sheriff's deputy saw a masked man leaving the CVS at U.S. Highway 59 and Tidwell Road in a car that matched the description of a suspect vehicle involved in a robbery, according to authorities.

The ensuing chase ended in a seven-car crash at Laura Koppe Road and Lockwood Drive. A woman was killed and two children and the deputy were taken to a hospital. The suspect fled after the crash.
"Our condolences go out to the family of the female that lost her life during the crash," Gonzalez said in a tweet. "We pray for the recovery of our deputy, the two small children and everyone impacted by the crash."
The Houston Police Department is leading the ongoing investigation into the crash, according to Gonzalez.
