HPD Officer Arrested, Fired Over Child Porn Charge: Police
Houston police officer Justin Weber was arrested and charged with possession of child porn Monday after a two-month investigation.

HOUSTON, TX — A Houston police officer was arrested and charged with five counts of possession of child pornography Monday, court records show.
Weber was booked into Harris County Jail and is being held on $100,000 bond, according to court records.
Justin Weber, 29, was "relieved of duty" after he was arrested at the conclusion of a two-month investigation, authorities said.

Weber was part of the Air Support Division and was sworn in as an officer in 2016.
HPD's Internet Crimes Against Children unit (ICAC) received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in early January, and ICAC investigators opened an inquiry into the accusations against Weber. HPD's Internal Affairs Division also is investigating the incident, HPD said.
