Hurricane Harvey: School Districts In Houston And Galveston Close As Storm Approaches
Colleges, universities and school districts close their doors and urge students and staff to stay home and wait out the storm

HOUSTON TX — A number of school districts and colleges in the Houston and Galveston will be closed Friday as Hurricane Harvey continues its path to the Texas Gulf Coast.

Residents are advised to stay of the roads and find someplace safe as the storm moves inland.
