Katy Man is Arrested, Charged with Stabbing His Wife to Death

KATY, TX -- A man is in police custody after he allegedly stabbed his wife to death in their home Thursday night.

Police were called to the 22400 block of Coriander at about 9 p.m. for a report of a disturbance, where they found a 52-year old woman stabbed to death.

Police said that Rene Jaime, 52, was arguing with his wife, when investigators said he stabbed her to death.

The couple’s two sons, ages 15 and 13, were at home at the time of the stabbing, police said.

Jaime was taken to the Harris County Jail and was charged with murder.

His bond has not been set.
