Madisonville Christmas Company welcomed record-breaking crowds to its annual Flagship Open House on Saturday, September 19, as shoppers and families gathered in Madisonville for a full day of holiday inspiration, entertainment and Christmas traditions.

The event gave visitors an early look at the company’s newest holiday collections while offering seasonal experiences throughout the day, including a special appearance by acclaimed designer John Mark of John Mark Enterprises, visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, live entertainment and opportunities to explore the flagship store’s immersive Christmas displays.

A major highlight of the Open House was John Mark’s in-store design demonstration and meet-and-greet at the Shed, a comfortable outdoor venue that is part of the Madisonville Christmas Company indoor and outdoor experience, which drew more than 150 guests. Attendees watched as he shared decorating techniques, styling ideas and professional insights for creating elevated holiday spaces before visiting with guests, answering questions and offering inspiration for their own Christmas decorating.

Throughout the day, families explored elaborately decorated trees, ornaments, ribbon, wreaths, florals, tabletop décor and seasonal collections displayed throughout the Madisonville flagship. Santa and Mrs. Claus added another layer of holiday tradition, greeting visitors and spending time with families as they enjoyed the festive atmosphere.

The event also showcased one of Madisonville Christmas Company’s distinguishing services: custom holiday design. Customers can work with the company’s design team for assistance creating coordinated trees, wreaths, mantels and personalized holiday looks — bringing professional design expertise to customers looking to create something unique in their own homes.

The record-setting Open House continues a season of growth for the family-owned, faith-based Christmas retailer. Madisonville Christmas Company has also opened its first Dallas-Fort Worth-area physical location, a seasonal pop-up in Plano that will remain open through Christmas, celebrating its own Grand Opening Open House on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
