Prom Apparel Extravaganza At Houston Public Library

HOUSTON, TX -- Prom season is right around the corner and the Houston Public Library (HPL) wants to make sure you have the right attire. HPL is collecting new and gently-used formal dresses in all sizes, shoes and accessories, as well as tuxedos to be donated to teenagers looking for an outfit, HPL said in a news release.

"Your donation will not only be helping a teen, but also their families who may be struggling to make ends meet," HPL said.

The community is asked to drop off your donations now through Friday, March 22 at the following neighborhood library locations:

Lakewood Neighborhood Library
Temporarily located at Northeast Multi-Service Center
