Three Men Use Fishing Net In Attempted Kidnapping
Boy said they pulled along side him as he walked to school, and ordered him not to run.

HOUSTON, TX -- Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an attempted kidnapping of an 11-year old boy reported in north Houston on Jan. 6.
The child told investigators that he was walking to Hill Intermediate School when three men in a van pulled alongside him.
According to investigators, three men were in the van and one of those men yelled at the boy in Spanish not to run.

The boy said he turned and saw a man holding a long pole with a fishing net affixed to the end.
The boy turned and ran, an was not hurt.

Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance video from the area.
Investigators are looking for three men, possibly Hispanic and in their early 20s driving a white cargo van.
