The Top 10 Most Stolen Vehicles In Houston In December Were?

Trucks are king with Texas drivers, but they are also a magnet for thieves, according to the Houston Police Department.

HOUSTON, TX — Trucks are among the most popular vehicle in Texas. Unfortunately, they are also the vehicles that are most often reported stolen.

The Houston Police Department released its list of the top 10 stolen vehicles for December, and as is par for the course, American made pickups such as Chevy, Ford, GMC, and Dodge topped the list, followed by Chevy cars, Toyota sedans, and Nissan.

Toyota and Nissan pickups rounded out the top 10.

The following is a list of the "Top Ten" makes of vehicles reported as stolen to the Houston Police Department during the month of December 2018.
