On Friday, HPD released a sketch of what they believed the woman looked like before she died, and details related to a possible suspect in the case.

About two weeks before the remains were discovered, witnesses reported seeing a young, white man in his 20s in the area tossing a bag over the bridge.

He is described only as being in his early to mid-20s with short dark brown hair and long bangs that went across his face.

He is about 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with light skin and was wearing a gray and black plaid shirt.

Likeness of the pickup the suspect may have been driving (HPD)

He was driving a teal or bluish green Chevrolet Silverado extended cab pickup truck. The back left passenger window was broken and had what appeared to be cardboard over the window.

The truck is described as having lots of rust and looking as if it had been wrecked several times. A photo of a similar style truck is attached.

Anyone with information in this case, on the identity of the deceased male, or the male described above is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
