According to a KTRK report, there is minor river flooding along the West Fork of the San Jacinto River near Interstate 69, where dredging is set to begin.

The river will crest at a moderate level late Thursday, and some homes in the area could see flooding.
Meanwhile, creeks in northeast and northwest Houston were out of their banks, and should begin to recede over the weekend.
Earlier this week, Houston City Councilman Dave Martin announced levels at Lake Houston would be lowered 2.5 feet ahead of the start of hurricane season, and the rainy spring season.
On Tuessday, Harris County Commissioners approved the request for qualifications for engineering and environmental permitting to support the dredging of the West Fork of the San Jacinto River.
