• Bear Branch Elementary placed on secure perimeter due to police activity (houstonchronicle.com) — Bear Branch Elementary in Humble ISD went into a secure-perimeter status Thursday morning while police served a warrant nearby, briefly closing Garden Lake Drive and shifting drop-off to the back entrance. Classes continued indoors as normal, but no visitors were allowed in and all outdoor activities were suspended until the situation was cleared.
