Dallas County Continues COVID-19 Vaccine Allocation for Group 1A

Dallas County continues to allocate COVID-19 vaccines for group 1A, which administers vaccines to healthcare workers and first responders, as well as residents and staff in long-term care facilities, according to the county's Dec. 31 press release.
Additionally, the county says they are working with DFW Hospital Council and the Texas Department of State Health Services to determine when vaccines will be available for Dallas County individuals in group 1B, which includes residents 65 years and older and/or who have underlying conditions. Dallas County and the county's Health & Human Services will continue to provide updates and vaccine information to the public, the release says.
