Centennial Park Pavilion Closes For Renovations Sept. 24

On Sept. 24, the Irving Parks and Recreation Department will close the pavilion at Centennial Park, 444 W. Second St, to the public for renovations. The pavilion upgrades will include structural repairs, as well as repainting the pavilion at the park.

Residents and visitors should be mindful of the security fences placed around the pavilion for a designated work zone. The pavilion will remain closed through Oct. 8, weather permitting.

Following the completion of the pavilion renovations, the west side area of the pond at Centennial Park will undergo repairs and repainting of the hand rails and bridge. These areas will be closed to the public from Oct. 8-23, weather permitting.
