Holiday Tree Decorating Competition Returns to Arts Center

A holiday tradition now in its 28th year returns to Irving Arts Center (IAC) as the galleries are transformed into a wonderland of spectacularly decorated Christmas trees through Dec. 31.

Finding inspiration in this year’s theme, “Celebrating a Season of Music,” various community groups and schools have placed their decorated trees on display for both virtual and in-person viewing.

To see them in person, reserve a time during normal gallery hours, from noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Due to the pandemic, all voting will be conducted by “liking” your favorite tree posted on Facebook. Those with the most “likes” will receive a cash prize.
