• Irving Hotel Guest Charged With Arson After Fire Set on Third Floor (irvingweekly.com) — An Irving hotel guest is facing a felony arson charge after police say he set a fire in a third-floor hallway at America's Best Value Inn on West Airport Freeway and blocked an employee from putting it out. Irving officers and firefighters quickly contained the damage, and the case will now go to the Dallas County District Attorney, with officials noting the suspect has an unspecified medical condition.
