• Texas Water Development Board approves $370,770,000 to the North Texas Municipal Water District (Collin, Dallas, Denton, Fannin, Grayson, Hopkins, Hunt, Kaufman, Rains, and Rockwall counties) for… (ntxe-news.com) — Kaufman County is part of a major North Texas water project just approved for $370.8 million in state-backed financing, which should lower borrowing costs by about $31.7 million. The funding will help build a second 25-mile treated water pipeline, boosting long-term water reliability for communities across the North Texas Municipal Water District, including Kaufman County residents.
