• Westlake won't renew Keller police contract amid data center drama (dallasnews.com) — Keller residents face a major shift after Westlake voted to end its long-running contract for police services from the Keller Police Department when it expires in 2028. The move follows tensions over a proposed Circle T data center near Keller homes and could see Westlake partner with Roanoke instead, though Keller officials say they’ll maintain full service and professionalism until the agreement’s final day. 
• Southlake City Council denies permit for Pride event at local church (fox4news.com) — Keller residents who joined last year’s Pride Kel-So festival in Southlake should know the Southlake City Council has unanimously denied a permit for this October’s event at St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church. Organizers, who drew about 2,500 attendees from Southlake and Keller in 2025, say they’ve received no explanation and may downsize the gathering to avoid the permit requirement.
