• Mildred Alice 'Happy' Adkisson (bluebonnetnews.com subscription) — Kingwood residents are mourning the passing of 97-year-old Mildred Alice “Happy” Adkisson, who died in Kingwood on July 20 after a long, faith-filled life of caregiving and service. Visitation and a celebration of her life will be held this evening, July 23, at Neal Funeral Home in Cleveland, with burial Friday at Houston National Cemetery.
