• Woman arrested in connection with deadly crash involving Lamesa teen (firstalert7.com) — A recent DPS investigation led to the arrest of a 30-year-old woman accused of providing alcohol to a 16-year-old Lamesa girl who later died in a rollover crash near County Road 18 last month. Authorities say the teen’s vehicle left the roadway and overturned, and toxicology tests showed a blood alcohol level just over the legal limit. The case is still under investigation.
