• Multi-month investigation ends with suspect behind bars in League City (fox26houston.com) — League City police helped stop a multi-city credit card fraud scheme that targeted gym-goers and used H-E-B stores for unauthorized purchases. A Houston man is now jailed after investigators tied him to dozens of stolen cards, including offenses in League City and nearby cities. Pearland police are still seeking additional victims from late 2025 through April 2026.
