• 'I think we've won the lottery': Leander resident claims share of $20M Powerball jackpot (news4sanantonio.com) — A Leander resident who grabbed a Powerball ticket with their morning coffee at the QuikTrip on Crystal Falls Parkway has claimed half of a $20 million jackpot. The anonymous winner chose the cash option, taking home about $4.49 million before taxes, and says they plan to save the money while deciding what comes next. The Leander store may also receive a sizable retailer bonus.
