(ballislife.com) — Little Elm's boys basketball team capped a breakout 37-2 season by winning its first-ever UIL Class 6A Division II state championship, dominating Austin Westlake 57-35 behind standout performances from seniors Joshua Weems, Ian Berry, and Kensington Candler. The Lobos' only close in-state stumble was a two‑point loss to eventual 6A Division I champ North Crowley, a result that actually boosted Little Elm's final national FAB 50 ranking.
