• Caldwell County residents concerned about nuclear power company's new test site (fox7austin.com) — Residents living just outside Lockhart in Caldwell County are raising alarms after discovering construction is underway on a nuclear power company’s test facility in their rural neighborhood. The company, Aalo Atomics, insists the site will contain no nuclear material and minimal hazards, while county officials say permits were routine and required no public hearing. Neighbors are organizing, worried about safety, transparency, and property values.
