• Lockney Officials Working to Expand Local Housing Resource List (floydcountyrecord.com) — Lockney city officials are building an updated list of local rental options and are asking area landlords to share their contact details and property types. The goal is to better connect Lockney residents and families who call City Hall with accurate, up-to-date information on available houses, apartments, and other rentals. Landlords can participate by emailing City Hall or calling 806-652-2355.
   

• Lockney General Hospital District Reports Strong March Numbers, Discusses Growth and Staffing Updates (floydcountyrecord.com) — Lockney residents can take heart that W.J. Mangold Memorial Hospital posted a March net gain, rising patient volumes, and record ER visits while keeping expenses under budget. Hospital leaders also reported new equipment, added nurses and physicians, and plans to pursue rural health grants, with the next district board meeting set for May 27.
