• Lorena ISD homecoming parade kicks off with floats, candy and a cherished tradition (kxxv.com) — Lorena families packed North Bordon Street and Leopard Field for this year's Lorena ISD homecoming parade, complete with candy-tossing floats and a special walk uniting the youngest and oldest Leopards. The long-running community tradition continues Friday night when the Leopards host McGregor for the homecoming game at 7:30 p.m.
