• TEA assigns conservator to Lyford CISD as part of state accountability process (krgv.com) — State education officials have assigned a conservator to oversee Lyford CISD’s middle school as part of Texas’ accountability process, but emphasize it’s meant as support, not punishment. District leaders say three years of turnaround work are paying off, with the middle school projected to earn a B rating, and plan to ask for the conservator’s removal if official scores confirm that progress.
