• Magnolia woman pleads guilty to $477K Medicaid fraud, identity theft, US Attorney's Office says (abc13.com) — A woman from Magnolia has pleaded guilty in federal court to billing Medicaid for nearly $478,000 in mental health services that prosecutors say were never provided, some in a nurse practitioner’s name without consent. She faces up to 10 years for health care fraud plus a mandatory two years for identity theft when sentenced in December, and remains free on bond for now.
