• Burnet man sentenced to 20 years for online solicitation of a minor (cbsaustin.com) — A Burnet County jury sentenced a Burnet man to 20 years in prison for online solicitation of a minor, in a case investigated with help from the Marble Falls Police Department. Prosecutors say he believed he was talking to a 13-year-old, and he must now also register as a sex offender, underscoring local law enforcement’s focus on protecting area children.
