Marble Falls EDC accepts bid for West Innovation Loop (highlandernews.com) — Marble Falls’ Economic Development Corporation has chosen KC Engineering for the West Innovation Loop project, keeping the $840,000 contract under budget. The board also funded artificial turf at Harmony Park, advanced a city parks master plan, and approved agreements to support future economic development and downtown improvements.
   

2. Marble Falls to spend $206K on parks plan update (highlandernews.com) — Marble Falls City Council approved spending $206,000 to update the city’s parks, recreation, open space, and trails master plan, keeping the city eligible for key state grants. Council members largely backed the investment as vital for future growth, while the mayor objected to the cost. Officials also reported Marble Falls police handled over 9,000 calls and city population now tops 9,900.
   

3. Marble Falls brings back downtown senior banners for class of 2026 (dailytrib.com) — Downtown Marble Falls will soon display banners honoring the Class of 2026, reviving a popular program first started during the pandemic. The city plans to install the banners beginning the week of May 11, celebrating local graduates while also drawing families to explore downtown together.
   

4. MFISD sets sights on new athletics facility, career technology expansion (dailytrib.com) — Marble Falls ISD is moving ahead with a new indoor multi-purpose athletics facility and a major expansion of career and technical education at Marble Falls High School, funded by last year’s $172.2 million bond. Plans include a 70-yard indoor turf field, more welding bays, and a new cosmetology program expected to be running by the 2027-28 school year.
