Investigators say one suspect from Pharr is already in custody, and they urge anyone with information to call McAllen Police or Crime Stoppers, with anonymous tips eligible for a reward.

STAC to invite RGV county leaders to join regional alliance (riograndeguardian.com) — Regional mayors met in McAllen and agreed to invite Rio Grande Valley county judges into the South Texas Alliance of Cities, aiming to strengthen the region’s voice in Austin and Washington. Held at Quinta Mazatlan, the McAllen-centered gathering focused on shared priorities like water supply and long-term infrastructure planning that directly affect local residents.
   

5. Magali Delarosa Debuts 'Maldito Sea': A Colorful Music Video (tejanonation.net) — A new music video for Magali Delarosa’s single “Maldito Sea” was filmed at Casa Vibra and Snappixstudio in McAllen, showcasing colorful, bohemian-inspired visuals rooted in South Texas culture.
