• Father, son killed in wrong-way crash near McAllen (krgv.com) — A father and son from the Valley were killed Sunday morning in a wrong-way crash on FM 2220 just north of McAllen, and DPS is still investigating what went wrong. Troopers say a southbound Toyota Scion veered into the northbound lane and hit a Cadillac, killing both men and sending the Cadillac’s occupants to DHR with non-life-threatening injuries.
