With 54 Locations in Texas and Oklahoma, the family-owned, locally-based convenience store chain continues to Leave ‘Em Better 
FRISCO, Texas (April 29, 2026) -- <a href="https://txbstores.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Texas Born</a> (TXB), a family of customer service-oriented convenience stores serving fresh-made food, is celebrating the grand opening of their newest location in Frisco, Texas at 15355 Preston Rd., Frisco, Texas 75033. 
To celebrate, TXB is hosting a ribbon-cutting event on April 29 and invites the community to join them as they share the beginning of a new convenience store experience in Frisco, Texas.&nbsp; 
“We’re thrilled to be a part of the Frisco community,” said Kevin Smartt, CEO of TXB. “With the new theme park opening soon and being right down the street from The Star (Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters) and the PGA Frisco golf course, we’re happy to know that TXB will be a part of our guests’ journey to their destinations.&nbsp; We’re enthusiastic about expanding our mission to Leave ‘Em Better.” 
TXB is not your typical convenience store. The brand offers guests delicious menu items and a line of private-label products, including jerky, water, coffee, and more. The Comedy Arena

Welcome to The Sandbox: A Comedy Experiment.
This is where performers come to experiment, play, and try out brand new ideas in front of a live audience. Think of it as part lab, part playground, where bold concepts, weird formats, and fresh takes get their first shot on stage.
Instead of full-length sets, you’ll see a fast-moving lineup of many different performances. Some ideas will take off. Some will stay in the sandbox. That’s part of the fun.
Because it only happens on 5th Thursdays, every show is a one-time event. You never know what you’re going to see.
Come watch something new get built… right in front of you.
THE COMEDY ARENA'S Main Stage is located on the second floor, on the northwest corner of Hwy 5 and Virginia St. The main entrance is on the first floor, on Virginia St. There is an elevator at the rear of the building as well as a staircase both inside and outside of the building.
ENTERING &amp; SEATING The House typically opens 30 minutes before showtime. Seats are only guaranteed until showtime. Ticket price may be more expensive at the door (if any remain).
All seating is based on size of party and when guests arrive at the show. We have cabaret style seating, so small tables with chairs around them. Most of our tables seat 4 people. If your group is smaller you may be sitting with another group, if it is larger you will have multiple tables next to each other. To ensure a whole table to your group, you need to buy 4 tickets.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL
No refunds or exchanges offered after the show. Please make sure you purchase tickets for the correct date and time. You may be able to have your tickets moved to a future event if you notify the box office 24 hours before the start of the show to which you have tickets.
There is a 2 Item (Food or Beverage) Minimum Per Person. This means each person must purchase 2 items off the menu. This can be an alcoholic, or non-alcoholic drink, or any of our food items.
