Here are the top three stories today in McKinney-Frisco:
- Frisco businesses are learning how to balance technology with their brick-and-mortar stores by using drones to serve customers. First brought on by the pandemic, drone deliveries continue to rise in Frisco. Retailers such as Crush Taco in Frisco continue to see a much higher demand for delivery and takeout orders, even after lockdowns ended. (Community Impact)
- McKinney and Frisco, among other North Texas counties, received a weather alert yesterday for a winter storm. The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for Friday morning and continuing into the evening as freezing temperatures and precipitation are expected to hit the region. - Frisco continues to see more construction and renovations to existing businesses. Best Friends Doggy Daycare in Frisco will undergo renovations from Apr. 11 to May 16, Success on the Spectrum will be renovating from Apr. 1 to Jun. 30, and new construction for Custer Office Park began on Mar. 3 and will continue until at least May 15.
