Here are the top three stories in McKinney-Frisco today:
- On Monday evening, the McKinney Fire Department was called out to the 900 block of Soccer Drive for a house fire. The fire had burned out by the time firefighters arrived, but the house was reportedly filled with smoke. Investigators learned that the home's resident had fallen asleep on the couch with a lit cigarette, which caused the blanket on top of him to catch fire. Authorities said the resident suffered minor burns and was transported to the hospital as a precaution. (Star Local Media)

Six new local properties have just been listed for sale on Redfin, ranging from a modest 4-bed, 2-bath home on Sedona Lane in McKinney for $485,000 to a massive 5-bed, 6-bath home on Phantom Springs Drive in Frisco for $3.9 million.
