• Fatal crash involving 18-wheeler closes lanes on I-635 in Mesquite Wednesday (dallasnews.com) — A fatal overnight crash involving a car and an 18-wheeler shut down all but the far-left northbound lane of I-635 at Gross Road in Mesquite early Wednesday, causing major delays. Mesquite police say the car's driver died after rear-ending the slowing truck, and drivers were warned to expect significant lane closures until crews cleared the scene around midday.
