• Police search for teen suspect after multi-agency chase from Graham to Mineral Wells (wfaa.com) — Mineral Wells police are still searching for a teenage male suspect who fled after a multi-agency overnight chase that ended near Western Hills, Travis Drive, and Cactus. Three others were detained, and while officers say there’s no known threat to the public, neighbors are urged to stay indoors due to heavy police and K9 activity and to report any useful information. 
• GPD seeking information on suspect in cross-county vehicle pursuit (grahamleader.com) — A high-speed pursuit that began in Graham ended in Mineral Wells, where the driver of a black SUV ran off on foot and is still being sought. Three passengers were detained and released, and Mineral Wells police say they don’t believe the suspect is armed. Anyone with information is asked to contact law enforcement as agencies continue coordinating across counties.
• Fredrick William Long (brownwoodnews.com) — Longtime Mineral Wells resident and 1957 Mineral Wells High School graduate Fredrick William Long has passed away at 87. His visitation is set for Monday, May 18, and services for Tuesday, May 19, both at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Family and friends remember his military service, pharmacy career across Texas, and deep devotion to loved ones and community.
