• Career and Technical Education programs expand in Conroe, Willis and Montgomery (communityimpact.com) — Montgomery ISD’s new centralized CTE hub, The Den, is now giving local students hands-on access to 23 career-focused programs, funded through a major 2022 bond. Alongside Conroe and Willis ISDs, Montgomery is investing tens of millions to align classes with regional workforce needs and expand partnerships with local employers like medical offices and the police department. 
• Willis ISD IT employee arrested for online solicitation of minor (kbtx.com) — Law enforcement in Montgomery County, Texas arrested a Willis ISD IT employee on a charge of online solicitation of a minor after investigators say he exchanged inappropriate photos with a 14-year-old former student. He was taken to the Montgomery County Jail on a $125,000 bond, and a joint investigation by the Sheriff’s and District Attorney’s offices is continuing.
