11 Displaced After North Austin Fire Near UT-Campus
Blaze that erupted shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Thursday required temporary lodging at nearby hotel and American Red Cross aid.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Eleven people were displaced from their home at the UT-Austin North Campus area after a fire broke out early Thursday.
The blaze erupted shortly before 1:30 a.m. at a home in the 3300 block of Kim Lane, Austin Fire Department officials said. Austin Fire Department officials said the affected residents are now being housed at a nearby hotel and receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, fire officials said.
