Pflugerville Police Seeking Tips in Cold Case

The Pflugerville Police Department is seeking tips that could lead to the identification and eventual arrest of a suspect for the 2020 murder of Sharon Selman.

The department put out a social media post about the case on Tuesday, which marked six years since the 51-year-old Selman was shot and killed outside of her apartment building in the 1200 block of Town Center Dr. in Pflugerville.

"Sharon Selman was tragically killed 6 years ago," the post reads. "Sharon's family is offering a $25K reward for information leading to an ID and arrest." Capital Area Crime Stoppers is also offering up $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.

According to KVUE, leaders said Selman was an active member of the Mount Sinai Baptist Church.

The post includes a photo of Selman as well as a police composite sketch of an individual wearing a grey hoodie and a respirator of some kind. "Do you recognize this individual?" the post asks.
