2 Displaced In North Austin House Fire
Flames broke out at a home along School House Lane, causing $150K in damages after a lamp in the greenhouse spread to the attic.
AUSTIN, TX — Two people were displaced from their home following a house fire in North Austin on Wednesday, fire officials said.
The conflagration erupted along the 10900 block of School House Lane just after 5:15 p.m. After crews extinguished the flames, officials estimated the monetary damage at $100,000, with another $50,000 to the contents.
No injuries were reported. Fire officials blamed a lamp in the greenhouse of the structure for the fire that spread into the attic.
