2 Sent to Hospital in Ambulance Crash
A private Acadian ambulance was involved in a crash with at least one other vehicle.
An ambulance crash Tuesday Morning resulted in the closure of a southbound turnaround at Wells Branch Parkway and Interstate 35.
A private ambulance from the Acadian ambulance service was involved in a collision with another vehicle around 6:47 a.m., reported KXAN. Austin / Travis County EMS transported the two people in the other car to North Austin Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Acadian ambulance refused treatment from EMS and opted to drive to the hospital himself, reported the station.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash, and the turnaround has ben reopened.
