3 People Stabbed In North Austin
Among the injured stabbing victims — including minors in their early teens — two sustained potentially life-threatening injuries.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police responded to to a stabbing in North Austin on Thursday afternoon that left three people injured.
The incident occurred along the 8900 block of Pointer Lane just before 4:30 p.m., police wrote on Twitter. Officers detained an unspecified number of people as a result, adding no threat to the public remained. Austin-Travis County EMS medics reported on the stabbing as well, but differed with police on the exact address.
Medics wrote on Twitter the incident occurred at the 1700 block of Payton Gin Road. All told, medics added, three patients were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries — among them two minors in their early teens. Two of the victims sustained potentially life-threatening injuries, medics reported.
