3 Seriously Injured In Traffic Wreck Along FM 973
Crash along 3500 block of road early Sunday left 2 men with potentially serious injuries and a woman with critical, life-threatening. ones.

NORTH AUSTIN, TEXAS — Three people were seriously hurt early Sunday in a traffic collision along FM 973, according to Austin medics.
Austin-Travis County EMS officials were called to the 3500 block of North FM 973 just after 3 a.m., where they found crash victims pinned to a vehicle. Two male patients in their 20s and 30s were transported to a hospital with potentially serious injuries while a woman in her 20s sustained critical, life-threatening injuries, medics said via Twitter.
It's unclear what may have caused the traffic wreck. No further details were disclosed.

Farm to Market 973 begins at U.S. 183 southeast of Austin, near Mutant Ridge, meandering generally to the northeast and enters Austin. There, it intersects with SH 71 near the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, continuing to skirt the eastern Austin city limits and crossing the SH 130 toll road before entering Manor and intersecting with U.S. 290. The road then continues north into Williamson County, reaching its northern end point at U.S. 79 in Taylor.
