6 Victims, 1 Still Missing Reported At Lake Travis Water Rescue
Austin-Travis County EMS medics respond to boat collision early Friday at 16400 block of Stewart Road.

AUSTIN, TX — Medics were dispatched early Friday to the shores of Lake Travis in the northwest portion of the region for a water rescue after a boat collision involving six people, one of whom was still unaccounted for.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics were dispatched to the 16400 block of Stewart Road at around 1 a.m., officials said. Six victims were confirmed, including two adult female victims transported by STAR Flight helicopter to the Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Another male victim was transported to the same trauma center by ambulance with undetermined injuries.
Medics said another pair of patients refused medical treatment and the sixth is unaccounted for.
