Arrest Made In Fatal Pflugerville Shooting

The U.S. Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force arrested Kendric Knatte, 30, in Dallas after receiving leads from the public.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Police on Wednesday announced they made an arrest in the fatal shooting that occurred the day before.

The U.S. Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force arrested Kendric Knatte, 30, in Dallas after the Pflugerville Police Criminal Investigations Division filed a first-degree murder arrest warrant with a $500,000 bond, officials said in an advisory.

Knattte is accused of fatally shooting Frankia Mathurin, 32, Tuesday afternoon at the Sage at 1825 Apartments, 15835 Foothill Farms Loop. Police said the woman was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds when officers arrived.

A detective said at a press conference that local investigators worked in conjunction with regional law enforcement partners following active leads provided by members of the community in solving the case.

Knatte is accused of fatally shooting Frankia Mathurin, black female, age 32, on the afternoon of May 26 at the Sage at 1825 Apartments.
