Austin Council Member Pushes Back Against Surfaced Nude Photos Of Him
District 6 council member Jimmy Flannigan categorizes nude photos of him shared on the Internet as 'online harassment.'

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Austin City Council member Jimmy Flannigan has decried nude photos of him that surfaced publicly as "online harassment," according to reports.
Several news agencies were tagged in a tweet claiming to show the councilman posing in the nude. The post has since been removed. On Tuesday, Flannigan issued a statement acknowledging the photos wre of hm, but were for private use only.
“For the last few days, I’ve been subjected to an online harassment campaign which include private photos of me,” Flannigan said to various media outlets, including KXAN. “These photos were taken before I became a public official. While I regret taking them, they were private. At no time were they publicly shared by me. They only became public through an anonymous twitter post. It is troubling that this private and personal matter is now being used for political purposes.”
