Austin Medics Rush 2 Boys To Hospital After Wreck
Austin-Travis County EMS dispatched to traffic collision at 2700 block of U.S. 290 near Dripping Springs just before 1 p.m. Saturday.

AUSTIN, TX — Austin medics rushed two children to the hospital Saturday after a collision in Hays County.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics were dispatched to the 2700 block of U.S. 290 near Dripping Springs just before 1 p.m. Saturday as part of "mutual aid" agreement with their Hays County counterparts. ATCEMS medics transported two boys to Dell Children's Hospital with injuries not deemed to be life-threatening, while Hays County medics transported other patients for medical treatment.
The medical status of the patients was unclear by Saturday evening. It's also unknown what may have caused the collision to occur. The ages of the pediatric patients were not disclosed.

FINAL Mutual Aid- Hays County Ambulances transported multiple patients to Austin hospitals. ATCEMS transported 2 pediatric male patients from the scene to Dell Children's Hospital with non life threatening injuries. EMS clear, be safe!

Dripping Springs is located a little more than 23 miles to the west of Austin.
