Austin Police Seek Help Locating Robbery Suspect (Video)

AUSTIN, TEXAS — The Austin Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a robbery suspect in an incident that occurred earlier this month.
On Sunday, March 17, 2019, 10:43 a.m. a robbery occurred at the Regal Cinemas Arbor 8 located at 9828 Great Hills Trail. Police said the suspect was wearing a Halloween-style latex mask when he surprised employees, prior to the business opening. Armed with a handgun, the suspect was able to flee with an undisclosed amount of cash, police added.
Very little in the way of a physical description is available. The man of undetermined race is said only to be about six feet tall. He was last seen wearing a latex mask, dark-colored hoodie, blue baseball cap, blue jeans, black sneakers with white soles and a dark backpack.

Police released security surveillance camera video in the hopes someone might recognize the suspect and alert detectives. Anyone who was traveling northbound on the 183 frontage road between Great Hills Trail and Duval Road on the day of the incident between 10:45 a.m. and 11 a.m.,who may have witnessed the suspect throwing objects out of his vehicle are urged to contact police immediately.
