Austin Police Seize 75 Pounds Of Crystal Meth After Traffic Stop
Seline Lizbeth Ayala, 23, was stopped for speeding before police found drugs with $2 million street value stored in jugs.

AUSTIN, TX — Police on Wednesday released details on an arrest from last week that yielded some 75 pounds of liquid crystal methamphetamine.
The arrest dates to last Wednesday, July 12, after police reported to the 5400 block of North Interstate 35 northbound at around 11:23 p.m. There, officers stopped a vehicle for speeding and grew suspicious of the driver.
After dispatching a drug-sniffing canine to the scene, police found roughly 75 pounds of liquid crystal meth with a $2 million street value hidden inside large "Purple Power" degreaser jugs, police said in a statement. The driver, Seline Lizbeth Ayala, 23, was promptly arrested. The Laredo, Texas, native now faces federal trafficking charges, police said.
