Austin Summer Camp Teaches Kids How To Code
Launch Code After School open house scheduled March 2 to serve as preview for parents of children showing interest in coding.
AUSTIN, TEXAS — Launch Code After School, an after-school and summer camp program for kids in Austin, has scheduled a community open house next week for those curious about its offerings.
Students at the camp are between the ages of 7 and 14 who attend in order to learn how to code. Officials used the example of 11-year old Reese, who shares that his favorite part about coding is “...my ability to create whatever I want.”
Parents can check out the camp's blog on the “Best tools and Languages for Kids Learning to Code.” Launch offers game design, app design, 2D games and web design, robotics and IOT at their schools, of which there are now five locations throughout Austin.
