Bandidos Motorcycle Club Member Arrested In Road Rage Incident
He flashed a gun, later determined stolen, at another driver that had cut him off in traffic.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX -- A Bandidos Motorcycle Club member was arrested this week for flashing a weapon during a road rage incident this week, according to an arrest affidavit.
What’s worse, the gun the 26-year-old suspect, Julio Adrian Romero, displayed was later found to have been stolen from Marble Falls two years ago -- despite his claim to police that it belonged to the Bandidos Motorcycle Club.
The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Manor Road. Romero was driving a silver Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and wearing a vest with motorcycle-gang-affiliated patches, the Austin American-Statesman reported.

Romero told police he was following his family in another vehicle when another driver got in front of him. The motorcyclist acknowledged that he got in front of the driver who separated him from his family, slammed on the brakes and gave the motorist the finger out of anger.
This is when the road rage part occurred.

Both drivers started to intermittently speed up and decelerate while flashing their lights at each other in anger and frustration, Romero explained to police. Romero then upped the roadway ante, reaching into his vest to produce a gun that he pointed at the other motorist.
His own account of events was enough to land Romero in Travis County Jail with a bail set at $15,000. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
